Do we need to move the pet out?

Only for a few hours until the treated surfaces dry. Please also get the pet itself treated by your vet — house treatment and pet treatment need to happen together.

Why is a second visit needed?

Eggs already laid are not affected by spray. The follow-up visit kills the newly hatched stage and is what stops the cycle repeating.
